The key output of the Research Team's work is the publication of Policy Recommendation Notes. These are concise, evidence-based documents that address specific urban challenges affecting walkability, accessibility, mobility, public spaces, environmental sustainability, and civic infrastructure.
Each Policy Recommendation Note focuses on a clearly defined problem and combines on-ground observations, stakeholder inputs, technical analysis, policy review, and relevant research to develop practical and actionable recommendations. The objective is not only to identify problems but also to provide clear pathways towards solving them.
Policy Recommendation Notes are intended to serve as advocacy tools, discussion documents, and practical references for government agencies, public authorities, elected representatives, institutions, and other stakeholders. By translating research and field experience into technically sound policy recommendations, the programme supports informed decision-making and meaningful urban improvement.
