On Sunday, 11 January 2026, citizens came together for the Annual S.V. Road Walk to highlight the urgent need for better pedestrian infrastructure in Mumbai.

This year, we went all the way—walking the entire length of S.V. Road, Mumbai’s longest arterial road. Participants started from two ends of the road: northbound from Lucky Restaurant, Bandra, and southbound from Borivali Station, walking towards a common meeting point at a park in Oshiwara, with multiple pit stops along the way. Walkers joined in for different stretches based on their location and comfort, making it a truly inclusive, city-wide collective walk.
